I've been going to Shays for, and this is my first review! The staff always makes me feel like family when I come there. I feel like I'm home. Their food is still good as always. Today we ordered a Shay burger and fries and a grilled corned beef with fries. My sandwich ( The Shay burger) was cooked to perfection! Delicious from beginning to the end. I really go there for the coffee and the food is awesome. It's a win-win for me as always! BLUE ordered the corned beef with fires. He loved it! The prices was truly affordable and a place we will be going to again!
Finally stopped in after passing them up for 10 years lol. I'm a early bird, and I finally found a place that open at 5am. Its like a neighborhood diner. There breakfast is decent and you can order other foods in the morning too. Waitress is super nice too! Highly recommended! I'm going back for a cheeseburger for lunch lol.
It maybe a hole in the wall, but has steady traffic and stayed busy. Though even though it was busy, the food came out in under 10 minutes. The staff is super friendly and ensuring that the food taste good. It cost 23 for the two of us. The food was very filling and just as delicious. I would highly recommend this spot if you can get past the interior, because it’s worth sitting down and enjoying the food.
Food was excellent! My husband ordered the pork chops and eggs and ate it before I got to take the picture ! I ordered french toast which I also ate before the picture and the bacon with half and half called the 'Shay's Special' Staff is also wonderful Our new breakfast place! …
My chicken soup was amazing.. waitress was accommodating I changed my order from breakfast to the zoo oh my gosh so I will be going there every time my family is sick or I want to I wish however they would have gave me some bread but the soup was overflowing and it was delicious
Great and HALAL! Alhamdulillah! I got a small portion of one of the specials, however, it typically comes with more pancakes and eggs, I believe. Great service, my host was very nice and made sure I was doing well while I was there. Chef on the grill greeted immediately with salams and patrons did as well and everyone is nice, welcoming, and warm. This IS my go to spot now, and I intend to frequent Shay’s Resturant with halal turkey and beef bacon and sausages, inshAllah!
My family really enjoys eating at this restaurant again and again. The food is good and the service is great. We really like eating breakfast here and sometimes lunch. One of my favorites is french toast with eggs and beef sausage
Shays Restaurant is a treasure of Cleveland. The food is great and the portions are better. It's amazing comfort food made just the way you like..The breakfast is my favorite but they also make great burgers! Along the wall you see authentic signs that have been around since they've opened which makes it more wonderful. The servers are friendly and the owner comes around to make sure everyone is enjoying their visit. Shay' s is definitely a favorite a mine and I will always be back!
